As only a limited number of places are available in certain programmes, prospective students are advised to apply as soon as possible.

Applications already open in April of the preceding year of study. Applications for selection courses and residence admission close on 30 September.

Get all the documentation ready that must accompany the application form.

The Registrar, Admission Section North-West University, Mafikeng Campus, Private Bag X2046, Mmabatho, 2735.

The application form for preliminary admission to the University will not be accepted for evaluation by the University without the necessary proof of payment of the prescribed R150 application fee and R500 boarding deposit. Cheques or postal orders made out to the NWU may be posted with the application form to the postal address on the application form. Direct bank deposits or electronic transfers may be made into the North-West University’s bank account at Standard Bank.
