Our next academic year begins in January. The DEADLINE for submission of applications is prior to this, in mid-September. The sooner you apply, the better, as it takes time to process your application.
Late applications will only be considered for South African students who have their own funding in full.
Please do not send us your application form until ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS are ready for submission. We cannot process incomplete applications
GWC is following government and sector guidelines around health and safety protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. We will be offering all our programmes in 2025, but the modes in which these programmes are delivered may vary. Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries in this regard.

HOW TO APPLY TO GWC USING THE ONLINE APPLICATION

Things to note before applying online to GWC:

  1. You’ll need an email address to complete the application.
  2. South African applicants will need an ID number.  Foreign applicants will need their passport number.
  3. You will need to have registered for the NBTs before applying online.
  4. You will need to pay an application fee.
  5. Need accommodation?  Make sure you mark this on your application form.
  6. Remember to check faculty-specific requirements before applying.
  7. Please note: Postgraduate applicants can only apply online.

* Zimbabwean students are strongly encouraged to apply before  July 2024. International students should apply as early as possible to allow time for VISA application processing. We look forward to working with you as you consider studying with us..

Submission

Please send the completed Application Form directly to the Assistant Registrar at GWC (Mrs Lulu Jampies at [email protected]), together with copies of your:

The following documents will make up a portion of the application:

  • Academic qualifications from high school and university (must include transcripts)
  • ID Document / Passport
  • Baptism Certificate
  • Letter of recommendation from your church (on letter head and signed by church leadership)
  • Non-refundable application fee ZAR350
  • Proof of sufficient funds- 3 months bank statements
  • Certificate of Code of Conduct from previous University/College
  • IELTS or TOEFL English Test Results: International students must be tested in their home countries prior to coming to GWC through either IELTS (see www.ielts.org) or TOEFL (see www.toefl.org). Testing is at your own expense.
