University Of Pretoria Directions, in other to get to University Of Pretoria this are Just a few things regarding the gautrain that might be handy:
1.The Gautrain station at the Airport, is two levels above the Terminal A Arrivals and one level above the Terminal A Departures.
Access is via a lift from either the ground (Terminal A Arrivals) or first level (Terminal A Departures), as well as an escalator on the first level (Terminal A Departures) opposite the KFC outlet.  There is directions at the Airport itself.
2. Before you can actually hop onto the train you will have to purchase a Gautrain gold card, you buy them directly from the ticket offices or at the gautrain vending machines, for R13.
3. When you buy the card, you also pay for, and load, whatever amount of credit you choose, onto the card.
4. Load around R300 onto your card as this should be sufficient to take you all the way to Hatfield Station and you will be able to use the Gautrain busses, a single fare from the airport to Hatfield is R155.
5. You can register your Gautrain Gold Card at a ticket office, you will need your Passport for that.
6. For the commuting: From the OR Tambo station you travel until you reach the Marlboro station. At the Marlboro Station you get off the train, and take the next train to Pretoria (make sure it is the North-South Commuter) and travel until you reach the Hatfield Station after Pretoria Station.
7. At the Hatfield station you may walk or take a taxi to your hotel.

Coming from the north, the main entrance via Lynnwood Road

N1, the Polokwane highway, will take you to the N4, the Witbank highway and then straight into Pretorius Street. Turn left into Gordon Road, same as following, the M7, Brooklyn turn-off, (Gordon changes into Duncan Road) for 1,8 km. (You’ll cross several traffic lights.) You are now at the Lynnwood Road traffic light. Turn right and continue 0,8 km. You are now at the traffic light at the main entrance. Turn right.

The entrance closest to the women’s residences, the service entrance

N1, into N4, becomes Pretorius Street, left into Gordon Road, same as following, the M7, Brooklyn turn-off, (Gordon changes into Duncan Road) and continue for 0,8 km. (You’ll cross several traffic lights.) Turn right into Prospect Street, carry on for an additional 0,85 km past the women’s residences (on your left). You will cross a couple of fourway stops to reach this entrance.

Coming from Johannesburg

N1, take the R101 Pretoria East off-ramp (you’ll see UNISA at this stage on the hill to your right). Follow the Brooklyn M7 (right and then left) to reach Fountains Circle. Stay in the lane second from right to take the Groenkloof off-ramp at the circle. In George Storrar Drive, drive 2,6 km and turn left into Queen Wilhelmina Drive. Continue 1,1 km, turn right into Nicolson Street, continue 0,6 km turn left into Roper and you’ll reach the main entrance (1,1 km, at the end of Roper) in Lynnwood Road.

Coming from the Johannesburg International Airport

The Pretoria off-ramp at the airport will take you to Fountains Circle. Take the Groenkloof or Brooklyn off-ramp (about 270 degrees around the circle). In George Storrar Drive, drive 2,6 km and turn left into Queen Wilhelmina Drive. Continue 1,1 km, turn right into Nicolson Street, continue 0,6 km, turn left into Roper and you’ll reach the main entrance (1,1 km, at the end of Roper) in Lynnwood Road.

Coming from the west

From Schoeman Street, turn right into Hill Street; continue 0,8 km (there is a bend to the left after 0,3 km into Burnett Street, you’ll cross several traffic lights). Turn right into Roper Street, entrance to the right after 0,1 km, the service entrance, at the corner of Roper and Prospect Streets.
